Magic Wormhole 是一个使用非常简单的开源跨平台文件传输工具，它可以安全的将文本、文件或者目录从一台计算机转移到另一台计算机，支持 Windows、macOS、Linux，命令行工具。

Magic Wormhole 自带了邮件服务器与中继服务器用来做这件事情：

公共服务器的 URL 作为默认使用，并且将免费提供，直到大量或滥用使其变得不可用。邮件服务器对小型密钥交换和控制消息执行存储转发传递。批量数据通过直接 TCP 连接或通过中转中继发送。

关于传输的文件，仅在收件人下载该文件时才通过中继服务器（如果需要中继），并且文件端到端加密的，并不会存储在服务器上。

通过 Magic Wormhole 协议创建的魔法虫洞生态系统，目前已经有不少应用了：

• Warp 7是一个用 Rust 编写的 GNOME GUI
• Winden 3是一个 Web 客户端和部署（通过 WASM 使用 Go 实现）

Easily and securely send things from one computer to another 🐊 📦

croc is a tool that allows any two computers to simply and securely transfer files and folders. AFAIK, croc is the only CLI file-transfer tool that does all of the following:

• Allows any two computers to transfer data (using a relay)
• Provides end-to-end encryption (using PAKE)
• Enables easy cross-platform transfers (Windows, Linux, Mac, Browser)
• Allows multiple file transfers
• Allows resuming transfers that are interrupted
• No need for local server or port-forwarding
• IPv6-first with IPv4 fallback
• Can use a proxy, like Tor

dcp | Dat Copy - remote file copy, powered by the Dat protocol

dcp copies files between hosts on a network using the peer-to-peer Dat network. dcp can be seen as an alternative to tools like scp, removing the need to configure SSH access between hosts. This lets you transfer files between two remote hosts, without you needing to worry about the specifics of how said hosts reach each other and regardless of whether hosts are behind NATs.

dcp requires zero configuration and is secure, fast, and peer-to-peer.
